Stuck In The Sand - Again :(

Today I went fishing today at Parada 36. Side note, a Parada is a bus stop and we use them here like mile markers to tell where things are. So I was not watching what I was doing and I drove into the only sandy area between all the grass and my front wheel car got stuck in the soft sand. Now, last time this happened I got stuck near a young guy in a Jeep. He was hanging out on the beach smoking weed (it is legal here). Anyway, he was really chill and pulled the car out with the winch on the front of his Jeep. He even let me drive his Jeep! So after that experience, I realized that in Punta del Este people are really easy going and helpful. So today's experience was not all that different, but it always catches me off guard how people look out for each other here. I got stuck in the sand right beside the main road and within in 2 minutes a guy stopped and asked if I needed help. I said yes and he came up to the car and started digging the front tires out of the sand like he was AAA, like it was his job, all I said was that I did not speak much Spanish. I think he was a bricklayer or tile guy because he took a bunch of brick out of his work truck and broke it up into smaller pieces and built a little ramp for my car to back up onto. About this time another guy pulled up. He was in a city dump truck. He talked to the other guy that was helping me and they decided what to do (because I don't speak very good Spanish so I was really not involved). They got some rope out of the dump truck, hooked up to the bask of the car and the dump truck bumper and pulled the car backward out of the sand. Then they left with a handshake and that was it. I will probably never see any of the people I mentioned again, but if I do I will be happy to help them in any way I can.
